If I’d known I was going to turn Critters of Bright Valley into a series of stories, rather than just being one small part of a anthology setting, I’d have first not spent nearly as long on the Critters’ former lives before they reincarnated.

And second, I wouldn’t have had Faith face the traumatic events of Sunlightville nearly so early in the series. I’d have given her more time to establish her as the dreamer and the imaginer before such a life changing event.
